Michael P. Chabries

Dr. Michael Chabries is a gifted instructor and masterful public speaker.  He loves stories  and the connections they produce to captivate an audience.  Michael spent the first ten years of his professional career in the classroom.  The last 12 years have been spent working as a senior political advisor for five remarkable elected officials. Thankfully, he has returned to his roots to teach ethics, leadership and management courses to university students as an adjunct faculty member.  "A boxing match in the fog": leadership, sensemaking and crisis management in the context of an anthrax terrorism environment is the title of his doctoral dissertation. It is his fervent prayer that one day he will know what those words really mean.

Michael has four beautiful children.  His  daughter Lauren was recently married and his oldest son Joseph is attending West Point Military Academy.  On a good day - Michael is a poor cyclist but loves to ride nonetheless.  The greatest blessing in his life is his wife Laura.  For some unknown reason, she continues to love him to this day. Tomorrow might be a different story.
